About two weeks days ago we had to end the festival. Now we first look back before we look ahead.

We had a total of 1350 visitors. If Theaterhotel Almelo had not added extra seats last year we would have sold out. As it was we came close to turning people away. We are very glad Theaterhotel Almelo will grow even more before
next year as it looks like we'll need the extra capacity. Regarding the festival itself... Well, things went well and things went wrong (as usual). But we feel some of our new staff had a good learing experience. All in all we look back on a successfull festival.

Looking ahead, the core staff decided to start working on Anime 2009. The date and location are not certain yet, but possibly 01 through 03 May 2009 in the (by that time expanded) Theaterhotel Almelo. Because it's our eleventh festival we already decided on the theme: "Anime 2009, Mental Mania!".

Still there is a lot of work to be done and things to be decided. So stay tuned!
