The Theaterhotel Almelo hotel arrangement for Anime 2009 will cost € 142,50 per person for two nights for a standard two person economy room. If you want a two person room on your own you'll have to pay € 32,50 extra per night, i.e. € 200,50 for the weekend. Breakfasts (Saturday and Sunday) and evening meals (Friday and Saturday) are included.

Starting the 1st of January visitors of Anime 2009 can book rooms at Theaterhotel Almelo for the period of 01 through 03 May 2009. Even though the hotel has almost twice the number of rooms available compared to previous years, we expect that the rooms will sell out in a single day. In previous years we dealt with this by checking the order of arrival of e-mails that came in after 9 o'clock. As the transition speed of an e-mail is somewhat random this was not perceived as fair.

This year we will try something new. The Theaterhotel will randomly draw from the e-mails that arrive on the 1st of January and it does not matter whether your e-mail arrives at 0:01 or 23:59.

WARNING: DO NOT USE THE RESERVATION OPTION AT THE BOTTOM OF THE THEATERHOTEL SITE, IT WILL NOT WORK!!!

In order to take part, on the 1st of January send an e-mail to info@theaterhotel.nl with the subject "Anime 2009 hotelarrangement". State how many rooms you want and with how many people you are. Also state your room type if you are interested in something other than an Economy room.

It is of no use to book 10 rooms if you didn't buy 20 tickets. The Theaterhotel will check with us whether large reservations correspond to ordered tickets.

The drawing will be done by the Theaterhotel. It will take seven days before they can communicate the results to you. If you lost out, they'll ask whether you want to book a room at the Hotel Hengelo instead.

We have confirmed that wishing the hotel staff a happy new year will not harm your chances. :-)
