Yes it is official! We will have more visitors to Anime 2009 compared to last year, even counting Saturday only! So why are we still selling tickets? Didn't we almost sell out last year? Yes we did, but with the new improved Theaterhotel, we are glad to have the extra visitors; otherwise the festival would feel empty.

So is there no limit? Yes there is: 1600 visitors for each day. In light of this number we estimate there will be about 200 tickets available on Saturday, more on Friday and Sunday; but it pays to keep an eye on the web site in case you are going to wing it. However, getting a ticket in advance is always preferred. Not only is it cheaper, but we can guarantee festival booklets only for visitors that we know are coming. We should have enough booklets for the at-the-door tickets but we won't promise anything.

Cosplayers should also pay attention to the possibility to win free tickets at the Kana website - go to the Kana News page and scroll down a couple of items. If you already paid your tickets you can still enter. If you win, we will return you your money!
