Cosplay (I guess that's a given!), gaming, and playing with my

When and how did you start being involved with cosplay?
A friend told be about the concept and I attended my first con in the ugliest costume you can possibly imagine (Now, multiply that by 10), thinking that I rocked all the way to the stars. Since then I got interested in sewing, crafting and painting.

with?
I have been to ECG as a group
in 2011, and WCS in 2011.

The worst thing
someone can do onstage?
Let their face show that they
fucked up made a mistake.
When watching a show I often
don't even realise that there's
been made a mistake, until the
painfully awkward fuck-me oops
expression appears on a
cosplayers face.
Also, letting the audience know
that your costume hurts, or is
falling apart or whatever
is a big no no! Just rock
that scene and use whatever
is thrown your way, -
good or bad!
What will you do in when the world ends in 2012?
Be on the first spaceship out of 'ere!
What would you do on the eve of the apocalypse?
I would probably have been persuaded to join some creepy cult or whatnot, - so we'd be chanting in our head quarters (AKA: the creepy candelit basement)

When and how did you start being involved with cosplay?
I read a little bit of manga when I was younger, but I really didn’t know what it was. Untill I meet Sørine, I had NO idea that a anime and cosplay environment existed, but she took me in and showed me the wonders of convention. It still took me some time to try out the whole cosplay thing, I think I was about 18 before I wore my first cosplay.
What international contests have you been involved with?
Me and Sørine was so lucky that we both got to go to ECG and the WCS in 2011. I can’t even begin to describe what it has meant to me.
The worst thing someone can do onstage?
Fall of it! Or getting hurt. But even if this happens; GO ON! The shows must go on and as long as you don’t show you made an error nobody else will know ;D

When and how did you start being involved with cosplay?
I was a theater nerd in high school, and my friends lured me in by making my first costume in 2002 and telling me about the skit contests. I was totally hooked and immediately learned to sew, started making my own costumes, and began traveling to conventions around the country. The people I've met from all over the US (and now the world!) have kept me completely addicted to the hobby.

I was part of the World Cosplay
Summit as Team USA in 2011.

Panic. Things will go wrong with
even the simplest or most
rehearsed performance, but you
should never draw attention to
mistakes.

Probably stay at home to avoid
the traffic.

Eat all the cake and ice cream I

When and how did you start being involved with cosplay?
I’ve always loved making costumes and dressing up. When I was very young my
mother made me a Wily Kit costume from Thundercats. A few years later I made
myself a White Mage costume for Halloween. I started going to anime
conventions in 2000 and after that my costumes just started getting more
elaborate and more labor intense.

WCS 2011 was my
first international cosplay
experience! We Americans don’t
get out of our country very
often, I think!
The worst thing someone
can do on stage:
Fidget with their
costume/wig/prop. You’re only
on stage for a couple of
minutes, you should look
comfortable and confident!

Hide out in the woods.
