Artists Avenue

In previous years attentive visitors to the dealer room may have noticed a few independent artists, selling their wares hidden among the hordes of commercial dealers.
This year they have a place of their own and of course they’ll go wild! Not only do we have more artists and circles than ever, but thanks to the efforts of MangaFique they are playing a whole new game or two!

Apocalypse Cow Now
The world is about to be destroyed. Only a select group of people can save the world. Are you strong or smart enough to accept this mission? Save the world in the live action role playing game “Apocalypse Cow Now” in Artists Avenue. Beware: danger lurks everywhere! Find shelter in the refugee camp! It opens only at select times, when danger rears its ugly head! But where is the refugee camp?! Not on any maps for sure! All through the weekend, during the Game Guide hours you’ll get hints and instructions for this live action RPG. The first RPG ever to be powered by the art of your favourite artists in the Artist Avenue.

Button factory
With no grownups around, who needs closing times? What special buttons can you get only a night?

Cosplay Photo Storyboarding

For your information

The reason we call it Artists Avenue instead of the more common Artists Alley is that it is a wide spacious room with lots of natural light, certainly not an alley. Artists Avenue will be located at “The Bridge” between the hotel lounge and the new wing of the hotel that contains the dealer room and is one of the few parts of the festival open to the public without a ticket.

Not Required.

The usual rules apply. Like always, please pay attention and follow the instructions given by our security staff and stewards.

Free entry.

De Brug (Ground Floor, the connection between the new annex and the hotel lounge).
