So you have a camera and want to know how to make better use of it?
In this workshop we will try to explain how to make better use of your camera and various lightning equipment to get great results and also try to explain to cosplayers some of the things that might not be clear to them about photography and why/how we do certain things.
This workshop by n8e Cosplay Photography, GeniMonster and Ben Hardly Photography is interesting for both cosplayers and (prospective) cosplay photographers.

This workshop will cover the following things:

  • The technical side (what are these buttons on my camera??)
  • Some general rules that will help you get better pictures
  • Interaction between cosplayer and photographer, how to make people feel at ease.
  • Some basic modelling tips
  • How to prepare for shoots, for both photographer and cosplayer
  • What to do after the shoot

Blast from the Cast: change your cosplay with resin casting!

Have you ever wanted to make detailed props/accessories for your costume?
Have you ever seen/read about resin casting but you were not at ease with trying it out?

Well, let Shinju introduce you to the amazing world of resin! You'll get to learn about making a master/prototype, how to easily make molds out of different materials and, of course, how to cast different types of resin and what they are useful for.
She will do an on spot demonstration and answer all of your questions!

Acting

To have the best experience as a cosplayer on stage you do not only need a cool costume, but you will also have to perform well on stage.
This workshop/lecture will show you some of the specific of the acting like -how to talk, how to walk, fighting scenes, drama scenes, comedy ect.
Also tips how to make a good script.
After half of the lecture is over, there will be 3 groups selected of two or three persons at random, to see what is learned and what is there to improve.
