Team UK

Above you can see Laura (left) and Lex (right) in their WCS 2012 Parade outfits. Laura and Lex were the first ever Team UK to participate in the World Cosplay Summit! I think about 25 or so.

Do you have international event experience?

I was part of the UK WCS team in 2012, taking part in many events in Nagoya, Japan. I attended Uppcon in Uppsala, Sweden as a cosplay guest in 2012 and I’ve also been a general attendee at Anime expo in LA

What is the worst thing to do on stage?

Fall over! I once did a few simple pointe ballet moves on stage as part of a masquerade and I was so paranoid about losing my balance and falling.

What is the worst thing to do before Judges?

Maybe a costume malfunction?

What was your best cosplay experience?

Cosplaying Kasumi in a festival parade in Ichinomiya, Japan.
Everyone was cheering us in the parade and it was a wonderful experience

Our theme this year is: To Udder worlds (cow udders). What do you expect to happen at the event because of the theme?

I dread to think, I’m a non dairy consumer so the thought of cow udders everywhere is a little disurbing
