Kimono Lecture & Workshop by Linda Kentie

Kimono 101 Basic introduction
Most of us have seen kimono being worn in many Japanese drama, movie, anime and mangas. It is such a magnificent garment with a lot of mystery, shaped by its culture.
In the lecture 'Kimono 101 Basic introduction' we will unravel all the basic details about kitsuke (wearing of kimono), kimono types, seasonality, rules, tips & tricks and much more...

How to wear kimono & yukata
For those who would love to give wearing kimono and yukata a try, you are most welcome at the 'How to wear kimono & yukata' workshop. This workshop will follow later in the day after the 'Kimono 101 Basic introduction' lecture.
You will be able to see a demontration of male and female kitsuke, and you will receive guidance trough all the steps when it is your turn to try on a kimono or yukata yourself.
**Rules apply** If you want to follow this workshop, please do not wear too much makeup, since it can damage the kimono and yukata.
