Cosplay Photography

During this lecture you will not only be taught and shown how to take the best possible photos of cosplayers, but we will also discuss the surrounding process of preparing a shoot or what to do after you've taken the photos. We'll discuss lighting, composition, but also the non-technical aspects such as how to approach and work with a cosplayer.

For the second time at Animecom Jeroen Weimar will be giving a lecture on cosplay photography. During this lecture you will not only learn about techniques, lighting and how to work with a model, but we will specifically go into how to create a photo from start to finish, based off of photos that we will deconstruct. We'll talk about how to get the best possible photos at both a convention, or at a separately organized photoshoots.

This lecture is of course also the perfect opportunity to ask questions about technique, equipment or request feedback on your own work. We'll also look into post-processing and what to exactly do in order to work with a cosplayer, and what to do afterwards. This lecture will have something to learn for everyone, no matter how experienced. There will also be a lot to learn for cosplayers as we'll look at this from both sides of the camera.
