The Taste of Sake

The sake tasting shows (and let you taste) how wide the variety of sake's is. While the maids from Sparkling Potpourri serve you your sake, Simon Hofstra will tell you all about the sakes you are tasting.

We all know sake as the great Japanese alcoholic beverage made from rice, but very few know how to appreciate it. Therefore we introduced the sake tasting to show (and let you taste) how wide a variety of sakes there are. Because it was so successful, we decided to have two sake tastings this year. To enter one of these tastings you will have to buy a separate Sake ticket for € 20.00. This tickets covers all consumptions that are part of this tasting event. Tickets can be bought in advance at the Information Desk or at the door (if any are left). After the sake tasting you'll be able to purchase some of the bottles you just tasted.

Tickets cost 20.00 Euro, sales at the Information desk start Friday 14:00.

  • You are not allowed to drive after partaking in the tasting.
  • Whole Weekend and Friday visitors ONLY, limited to 120 tickets per tasting.
  • You have to be 18 years of age or older.
  • You will need to bring your ID and show it to the security people at the door before you are allowed entrance.
  • Taking part in this tasting costs € 20,00 to be paid in advance at the Information desk.
  • This event is limited to 120 people. If the limit is reached, you can not attend.
