Live game soundtrack


Rene and Joost will play live music to play throughs of parts of the games Journey and Ori And The Blind Forest. Playing cello, percussion and
effects they'll react to everything the player does, creating an entirely new soundtrack on the spot. A unique experience, a blend between live music and game!

Joost van Dongen plays cello and is co-founder and lead programmer at Ronimo Games, the studio behind Awesomenauts, Swords & Soldiers
and De Blob. In his spare time Joost made the live music game Cello Fortress and the abstract racer Proun. Joost writes about game development on his blog at
Rene Derks plays percussion and synthesizers and teaches Game Design at NHTV Breda. Previously he worked at Vanguard Games on Base Busters and Gatling Gears.
