AMV 101 & AMV 102

Anime Music Videos. We all know what they are, but how do you make them? The answer to this question will be given by AMV Netherlands, which includes former winner of the Animecon AMV competition, MarikoAMV (Lydia Hofman), together with Liquified (Dylan de Vos), Kagacie (Nayton Telg) and with special assistance of Roger LovesAnime (Rogier de Baan).

On Friday at 19:00, AMV Netherlands will be hosting the AMV 101, which mainly focuses on the beginning aspects of editing. They will be discussing some of the following subjects:
- The process of creating a concept to starting the actual editing process.
- Some basic technical aspects such as sync and resampling.
- Live showing of various editing styles and workflows in different editing software such as Sony Vegas and Adobe Premiere.
- Breaking down an AMV called Money$hot made by MycathatesyouAMV.

On Saturday at 16:00, AMV Netherlands will be hosting the AMV 102 which gives you a more in-depth view of what AMV editing is. They will be discussing some of the following subjects:
- The more technical side of editing. Such as choosing the right framerate for your footage, resampling scenes in your editing software and why.
- Live showing of certain effects and how they are executed.
- Showing how to properly convert your footage and render your AMV to make it con ready.
- Breaking down a popular AMV called Ship Happens made by VivifxAMV.

On both days we will be having an AMV quiz with prizes! If you paid close attention during the workshop, you have a chance of winning great prizes such as plushies, posters, manga's and more.

This is also your chance to ask the questions you've always had about editing. Always wanted to know why it can sometimes take months to edit an AMV? How some effects are created and where ideas come from? Feel free to ask any of those question at the AMV 101 & 102!
