'Nine Dragons': myths, legends and other stories from China and Korea

The mythology and cultural heritage of Japan is quite unique, but it shares its roots with other cultures of South-East Asia, especially China and Korea. This is reflected in the stories that are told. Dragons, for example, originate from China but found their way into Japanese myths and legends.

Several times before, storyteller Gerard Jellema visited AnimeCon to share old Japanese stories. This year, he will bring something new: some fine stories from China and Korea. He also will explain a thing or two about the links between these stories and their Japanese counterparts. This is one educational storytelling experience you won't want to miss!
